Support for Communities: S.O.A.R

Assisting families with children with special needs by offering specialized support, resources, and advocacy.

S.O.A.R Program (Support, Opportunities, Adaptation, Resilience) The S.O.A.R Program provides comprehensive support services for disabled youth and their families. Through our holistic approach, we aim to empower families by offering:

• Supportive Networks & Resources: We connect families with parent support groups, respite care services, and specialized guidance to ensure that they have a robust support system.

• Opportunities: We work tirelessly to help families navigate educational inclusion programs, advocate for accessible spaces, and facilitate connections to recreational activities tailored to their child's abilities and needs.

• Adaptation: Our program provides and connects families with resources and training to help families adapt to their environment and routines to best support their child. This includes securing assistive technology and offering training on specific care techniques.

• Resilience: We prioritize the emotional and mental well-being of both the youth and the family by connecting them with mental health professionals, providing resources for self-care, and offering workshops on building resilience in challenging situations. Through the SOAR Program, we aim to uplift and empower disabled youth and their families, helping them navigate challenges and thrive in their communities.
