Sonia Troupe is an experienced educator with a master’s degree in Education Administration, and bachelor’s degrees in Special Education and Black Studies.

She has enjoyed 30 years of teaching at risk students and teaching teachers how to work with at risk families.

As the founder of the Village Foundation Learning Academy, Incorporated, Sonia has dedicated her life to filling the void she noticed in the school curriculum and the community.

She has worked tirelessly to make sure that children and their families are equipped with life skills to empower them and impact their communities.
